The Iona College men’s water polo team, led by senior captains Matt Joslyn, Cameron Hudson and Hunter Carrier, made their way to Cambridge, Massachusetts this past weekend to play Fordham in the first round of the CWPA Northern Division Championship on Nov. 5 and Nov. 6.

The Gaels edged out Fordham in the fourth quarter with an 8-7 win, earning them their first trip to the Eastern Championships since 2009.

Head coach Brian Kelly is optimistic about the team’s performance and is looking forward to the games ahead.
