The Gaels, who have won three straight MAAC Championships, were tied for third with Quinnipiac.

Canisius placed second, while Rider took the top spot in the preseason poll.

Iona will kick off its 2018-2019 season at home against the University of Albany on Nov. 9. The game is scheduled for a 8 p.m. tip-off.
