The Disney+ series “Stars Wars: Andor” is a great series to watch especially for Star Wars fans. The series is an origin story following the character Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) who previously appeared in 2016’s “Star Wars: Rogue One” which gives fans of the series something to look forward to as they learn more about a character that they are familiar with.

“Star Wars: Andor” is a prequel to “Star Wars: Rogue One” and it follows Cassian Andor from his roots to where he is currently in the show. Only a few episodes of the Disney+ series have been released thus far, but the show has proved itself to be exciting. Disney+ releasing an episode once each week leaves people on the edge of their seat, marking their calendars for when the next episode releases. Cassian Andor is a mysterious character in the series, but Star Wars fans will find new reasons to love him as Diego Luna does a fantastic job as he reprises his role and plays his part to par. Diego Luna has delivered what is so far an excellent performance to screen once again like how he did in “Star Wars: Rogue One” when he first played the character.

When it comes to origin stories, it takes time to tell the story of the character and develop it along the way of the show. In “Star Wars: Andor”, the Disney+ series may seem a little slow in the first few episodes mainly because it introduces Andor and his story as well. The storytelling of Andor’s origin so far is beautiful as in this series, the plot goes back and forth between the present and the past. The directors, producers and child actors of these flashbacks do an excellent job helping to tell Andor’s origin and his history. This series starting a little slow should be expected in an origin story. When flashbacks occur of Cassian Andor as a boy, the child actors do a great job in every scene, making the audience understand who Cassian is and who influenced him growing up. The children actors do an excellent job connecting the audience with Cassian because the audience sees Cassian’s struggles and the ways he grew up.

Adria Arjona, who plays the role of Bix Caleen in the series, has also given a masterful performance so far. Caleen is one of those characters you love to have each episode as she interacts with Cassian and other characters. Adria Arjona brought Bix Caleen and her personality to such great life that it makes every encounter with other characters in the show worth watching. “Star Wars: Andor” is a great series to watch and fans can see that the producers of the show are giving Cassian a story of his own. This series explains why Cassian developed into the person we see in “Star Wars: Rogue One” as the series continues. Although the origin of Andor may start off slow, its slow pace allows the audience to connect more with Andor’s character.
