Iona College released a statement on Friday morning that said St. John’s has not reached out to the school about men’s basketball Head Coach Tim Cluess.
The school said it has long-term plans for the 2019 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and is hoping Cluess ends his career in New Rochelle. Cluess signed a contract extension through the 2024-25 season around the same time last year.
