Monday night television is a big deal if you’re a teenage girl: Pretty Little Liars, The Bachelor, and Gossip Girl are all on cable.

The CW Favorite, Gossip Girl, has been on for five seasons and every week viewers tune in to see their favorite Upper East-siders and the drama unfolds in privileged lives.

On January 31st, Gossip Girl aired its 100th episode.

The media has been buzzing for weeks, talking about how big and iconic the episode was going to be and on Monday night, the episode did not disappoint.

The episode centers on Blair Waldorf’s royal wedding to Prince Louie of Monaco.

Any avid Gossip Girl fan knows that a wedding not between Chuck and Blair is bound to stir up controversy.

That drama came in the form of the infamous villain of the Upper East Side, Georgina Sparks.

Georgina, with an agenda to destroy the royal nuptials eventually does that, revealing a huge secret in the process.

Similar to several other GG episodes, Chuck professes his love once again to Blair, claiming that he and she should become man and wife instead.

As Blair agreed to this statement, but for Chuck’s ears only, fans of the couple were sure to be swooning.

But what neither Chuck nor Blair knew was that Georgina was taping the entire thing, later to be sent it to Gossip Girl to be revealed.

Despite the confession, Blair’s wedding went on as planned and she married a vengeful Prince Louie. Unbeknownst to Blair, the Prince assured her that they were in a loveless marriage and simply keeping up appearances at public events.

After learning this, Blair runs off with none other than former Lonely Boy, Dan Humphries. Blair has found herself in the middle of a love triangle, or square for that matter. Her husband, Prince Louie, the always-looming Chuck Bass and dependable Dan Humphries are all in Blair’s charmed yet troubled life. Who will she choose?

The episode ends with the biggest shocker of all, Gossip Girl’s infamously hidden identity is finally revealed as none other than Georgina Sparks.

In what is sure to be a memorable episode, the 100th Gossip Girl left much up to speculation and anticipation.

This episode is one that the Gossip Girl fans will be talking about for ages, the one that tied everything together.
