Jets Continue to Struggle
The Jets find themselves still looking for their first win of the season after losing to the Panthers on Sunday and falling to 0-7.
The offense really struggled yet again, which led head coach Aaron Glenn to bench starting quarterback Justin Fields for Tyrod Taylor to begin the second half. Justin Fields has been widely criticized for his struggles in the passing game, specifically for missing wide-open receivers and holding onto the ball too long, which has led to sacks. Tyrod Taylor pushed the ball downfield but was intercepted twice by the Panthers’ Pro Bowl corner Jaycee Horn. The only touchdown of the game was thrown by Panthers quarterback Bryce Young to wide receiver Xavier Legette.
The Jets failed to score a touchdown for the second straight game, with their only points coming on two field goals by Nick Folk. The Jets’ offensive line continued to struggle, allowing six sacks to a Panthers pass rush that had only five total team sacks in their first six games.
The Jets will get another chance to get their first win next week in Cincinnati against Joe Flacco and the Bengals.

New York Giants Blow Lead Against Broncos
The Giants suffered a devastating fourth-quarter collapse against the Broncos on Sunday to fall to 2-5 on the season.
After a huge upset victory against the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles in Week 6 on primetime, the Giants dominated the first three quarters of the game, holding the Broncos scoreless and leading 19-0 after touchdowns from Daniel Bellinger, Cam Skattebo, and Tyrone Tracy.
However, the Broncos continued to fight back and took the lead 30-26 after a Bo Nix rushing touchdown following a huge Jaxson Dart interception in Giants territory. The Giants’ offense fought back and took the lead with a Dart rushing touchdown, but a key extra point was missed, giving them the lead 32-30.
With 37 seconds left and no timeouts remaining, Nix and the Broncos led a game-winning drive, getting in field goal range for Will Lutz, who delivered the game-winning field goal, giving the Broncos a 33-32 victory.
A total of 46 points were scored in the fourth quarter with the Broncos outscoring the Giants 33-13 and overcoming the 19-0 deficit. The Broncos’ 33 points in the fourth quarter were the most in NFL history by a team that was shut out in the first three quarters. The Broncos went from a 0.2% chance of winning to shocking Big Blue with a comeback victory, which significantly hurts their chances of making a playoff push. NFL teams had won 1,602 straight games when leading by 18 points or more in the final six minutes of the game before the Giants’ loss on Sunday.
Despite the brutal loss, Dart is looking like a star with four total touchdowns, and the future is very bright for the New York Giants.
