Rays have a big comeback…so what!?

The closing out of the baseball regular season was one of the most memorable closings to date. There were two epic collapses courtesy of the Atlanta Braves and the Boston Red Sox.

The Braves had an 8 and  half game lead in the NL Wild Card entering September, and lost the lead to the St. Louis Cardinals on the final day, and the Red Sox led the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL Wild Card by nine games on September 3, and lost the lead on the final day also.

Tampa Bay is a small market team, and the odds of a team like them pulling off a World Series title are minuscule.

One can complain that the Rays have consistently made the playoffs the last couple years. There is no arguing that, but the simple response is the Rays still have not won a championship.
