Amazon Prime video will continue its highly successful superhero animated series “Invincible” with its anticipated fourth season set to be released in March 2026. The fourth season will pick up where season three left off, where the long battle between Mark Grayson and Conquest led to absolute destruction.

“Invincible” is a television series, based on the comic books series of the same name and it is created by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley and it was published on Image Comics. A fun fact about Kirkman is that he is the same writer who created AMC’s “The Walking Dead” and “Fear of The Walking Dead”.

Invincible is set in a world of different races such as humans and aliens. There is one alien race that looks identical to humans, and those are called Viltrumites. Viltrumite are powerful human-like aliens, who invaded and conquered multiple worlds.

One day, they had to remove the weak due to the risk of being viewed as weak. The strongest Viltrumites were tasked to go to another planet, live there, and remove what protects that planet from invasions.

One Viltrumite, Nolan Grayson, was tasked to go to Earth. During his time on Earth he was recruited by a scarred man, named Cecil Stedman, who oversaw both the Global Defense Agency and a team of superheroes known as Guardians of the Globe. During Nolan’s time with the Guardians of the Globe, he gained trust and acknowledgement. Under the name Omni-Man, he met a woman named Debbie who he married later on and they had a son, Mark Grayson.

Mark is half-Viltrumite and half-human. But, since Viltrumite blood is so pure that Mark’s Viltrumite traits shine through. When working his job at Burger-Mart at the age of 17 Mark finally got his powers at his part time job Burger-Mart, which he discovered by throwing a garbage bag very far in the sky. He trained with his father with flying and hand-to-hand combat, which leads to Mark becoming the superhero Invincible.

But soon after, things turn dark. Omni-man killed the Guardians of the Globe in order to make Earth vulnerable. After that, Mark joins the new Guardians of the Globe, which consists of people his age. During his hero career, Invincible sees the harsh reality of being a superhero, as he always ends up severely injured and sometimes fails to save people.

Eventually, Omni-Man reveals the truth to his son that he was sent here to exterminate the forces that protect Earth and that he killed the Guardians because he found them weak. After an emotional battle, Omni-Man leaves Earth in remorse and goes to a new planet to start a new life, where he had a son named Oliver Grayson

Invincible is praised for its epic battles, stunning animation, and very interesting plot, in addition to its voice cast for the series, which consists of Steven Yeun, Mark Hamill, Walton Goggins. K. Simmons and Gillian Jacobs.
