The bitter sweet feeling of the final NFL game of the 24/25 season has arrived, and it’s a rematch from two years ago, the Kansas City Chiefs Vs. The Philadelphia Eagles. KC was able to take down Philly as 2 point underdogs last go around, and are currently favored by 1.5 points ten days from kickoff. Mahomes has been virtually unstoppable in the playoffs since coming into the league, only loosing 3 times, with two of those losses by way of Tom Brady. The Chiefs scored 30 for the first time all season last week against the Bills, without any production from TE Travis Kelce. I wouldn’t overthinking this one, Mahomes and KC have reached never bet against territory, so my first play is KC -120 & Over 49.5
One of the most exciting things about the Super Bowl is the thousands of random and special bets that can be placed before, during, and after kickoff. Some examples include the coin toss, the length of the national anthem, which coach will be shown first on the TV broadcast, will the halftime performer bring out any surprise guests, and many more. Let’s take a look at some of the props, starting with simple, than moving on to crazier ones. Patrick Mahomes +110 to win Super Bowl MVP is a good pick, as there is a 90% chance of it happening if the Chiefs win. The only way he doesn’t is if Kelce has a monster 100 yard two TD game, then goes and proposes to Taylor Swift and announces his retirement. While I think that is unlikely, crazier things have happened. If you think the Eagles will win, Saquon Barkley +250 should be your pick to win MVP. Some good-value long shots to win MVP include Xavier Worthy +3500, AJ Brown +3500, and Kareem Hunt +7000.Diving into some player specific props, I believe Hunt is in line for a great game. Although RB1 Isiah Pacheco is back healthy, he has looked pretty awful since returning in late November, only averaging 3.7 yards per attempt this season. Hunt has put up over 10 carries in 3 of his last 5, with 17 coming last week against the Bills.Eagles front is great, but
I am a huge fan of Hunt 0ver 10.5 carries and Over 40 Yrds. Saquon Barkley’s rushing props are extremely inflated, and id be worried to bet on his overs due to him being the focal point of the Chiefs defensive plan, loading the box, and essentially forcing Jalen Hurts to throw the ball downfield. Sticking with RB’s, Pacheco longest rush Under 10.5 yards. Since coming back from injury, he has only gone over this mark one time in 7 games, which makes it one of my favorite plays for the Super Bowl. The Coin Toss is arguably my favorite thing to bet on it all of sports, and I am proud to say i am 3-1 2021. Last year and 3 of the last 4 have been heads, so based on that, Ill go with Tails. Those are my Super Bowl 59 best bets, I would recommend checking different sites to see what special props they have to offer, and you can check out some other special plays, enjoy the big game.
