For many people, Dunkin’ Donuts is simply a place to just grab a quick coffee or even a snack. But for those who know me, they know that Dunkin’ is everything to me. If there is one thing I do, it’s that I run on Dunkin’. Growing up, Dunkin’ was a common place for my family to stop by. I love donuts especially, and my parents used to bring me by after school sometimes to get a little treat. Being from New England, Dunkin’ is a staple that is pretty much on every inch of the block. I can count at least five Dunkin’s that are within a five-minute drive from my house, so it makes sense as to why I think so highly of Dunkin’.As I’ve gotten older, I started drinking coffee and now my usual order is a caramel iced coffee with cream and a Boston Kreme donut. Dunkin’ has become a comfort place, especially having one so close to school. The staff at the Dunkin’ next to Iona are always so kind and on top of orders, and they even recognize me because of how many times I go (which is probably a bad thing). One of my friend and I’s favorite things to do is meet up at Dunkin’ and just talk about how our weeks were over a nice, iced coffee. Dunkin’ also offers such great deals such as the $6 meal deal, which includes a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, hashbrowns, and a medium coffee.
It ’s such a great deal that my friends and I definitely utilized it quite a bit . For my birthday one year, my cousins got me a Dunkin’ Donuts lip balm, bucket hat and a gift card. It was such a funny gift because it really showed me that my cousins know that I go there way too often. Dunkin’ is truly one of the only things I spend my money on, but I am trying to spend it wisely and make sure to look at the deals beforehand so I don’t miss out on a great deal that might save me money. I know there is a lot of debate about whether Dunkin’ or Starbucks is the better place, but I will always choose Dunkin’. In my opinion, Dunkin’ can be hit or miss, but when it’s good, it is really good and nothing can beat it. Everyone should give Dunkin’ a second chance if they had a bad experience the first time, I promise it’s worth it.
