The sitting President of the United States is Donald J. Trump, who was elected in 2016 and is now up for re-election in 2020. As the first president whose main career was in real estate development and not politics, Trump has made global headlines since announcing his candidacy in June 2015. Before voting via absentee ballot or in-person, you should be aware of each candidate’s agenda. Here is a generalized list about America’s Republican candidate.

  • 1973: Trump became the owner of Elizabeth Trump and Sons and renamed it to The Trump Organization
