The Iona College campus becomes home to commuter and resident students alike during their four years at Iona. A home away from home, campus serves as the classroom, kitchen, living space and social scene for all students. As students spend time here, they develop places they prefer to go and hidden spaces to hang out and relax. Having a comfortable place to go on campus to unwind is essential during finals week, so we asked a few students what their favorite spots on campus are. Maybe you’ll get some ideas!

“My favorite spot is the library because I seem to spend all of my time there everyday.” – Kate Tagliareni, Junior

“I like Loftus Hall because that’s where it all started, it’s where I kind of met my core group of friends and made all my memories here at Iona.” – Brian Hutchinson, Senior

“My favorite spot on campus has to be the library because its really quiet and I get my work done there, more than I get my work done in my room.” – Olivia Conte, Sophomore

“My favorite spot on campus to sit and do homework [is the] WICR [station]. I have an office down there, so for me, there’s no cell service so I can get a ton of homework done and sit and answer emails. So yeah, for me, WICR is my favorite place on campus.” – Kate Adriani, Senior

“My favorite spot would probably [be] Starbucks. [I’ve gone] there every day, twice a day since I was a freshman. I love coffee.” – Simone Guidry, Junior

“My favorite place on campus is Starbucks. I go every day, it helps me function. I don’t know what I’d do without it.” Ally Parrett, Junior

No matter your preferred location, make sure you have plenty of time to relax and a comfortable place to study during finals week.
